wow what a trip

       We took a trip and DID leave the farm. Rita Riley and I took off on a great road trip, heading for Denver by way of the Blackhills   that's South Dakota for you Geographically challenged folks. WE went fromCrow Agency, better known as where Custer got his final haircut, down thru Lame Deer, Busby, { Home of the Great Oliver Flying who all but single handed won the Class C BB state Tourney a mountain of a man at 6'5" a mere 275# and a fadeaway that was unstoppable, that went along with his uncanny ability to impregnate school girls, we did see Flying Drive just out of town and I was tempted to stop but was afraid he might knock up Rita.  The countryside was really quite pretty, I am not sure to what extent but there is a definite correlation between how many junk cars in yur front yard and your status on the Reservation. I'm not judging just reporting. As we went along  it became clear that the Rez was dry no booze as we crossed the Tongue River we left the Rez and immediately entered a small town called Ashland, and Liquor store and Casino and Bars, I felt like a Beer so stopped at the cleanest one. There was a rather large Black man sitting in a rocker out front, the conversation went like this....For effect  and clarity He will be BM.....I will be BJ,,,,,,,,BJ " Good afternoon kind sir how are you?"  BM  "Fine SON I survived the Fire Didn't I"......a little side light We had been driving by a burned out forrest  off and on for miles and miles the fire was a few years ago.....BJ"..Guess you did, none the worse for wear huh ?"....BM.. "Hell you say SON Lost my whole stable." BJ.."HOW many horses did you lose?"....BM.. Horses hell SON, Whores ,had ten beauties a couple of Indian girls  acouple of whites and my prize Asian beauties, Redmen love those Asians, and they were all 16 or older SON  none of that illegal stuff here.".. BJ...That is very admirable indeed"  ....as I walked back to my car I was sure that I had just encountered a crazy man, ...crazy like a fox..SON.  I think I'll end this entry for now, the rest of the trip will have to wait for  another day , we just finished watching the final show of "Breaking Bad" and I'm exhausted and weepy...
