Play Ball!!

       The Pitchers and Catchers are about 35 days from reporting to Spring Training, can you believe it? I am READY, just finished watching the Documentary called "Four Days in October". Goes thru perhaps the greatest story in the History of  Our Great Pastime, American League Championship  year 2004. between the Yankees and Our Red Sox, starts with the evil Empire ahead 3 games to Zero and finishes with the Red Sox going to the World Series , winners 11-3 in Game Seven'!!!!A truly inspirational story indeed, one that gives hope to all! no matter how things are stacked up against you.  ........Some find great inspiration from stories like this, me. Not really. These players make Millions ,,would be more inclined to step on you if you were lying prostrate on city street with a heart-attack, and complain about it. But Damn , beating the Yankees was Awesome, a time I will never forget. Ten years later it stirs feelings not often stirred.  The Sox won the Series last year but to be truthful 2013 will fade , fade it will. But 2004.........On the other side of things, my beloved Indiana Hoosier Basketball Team, Is the screaming Shiiites, One can hope for better things! by better things I mean one Head Coach called Shakka Smart.......Now Go Forth and  Prosper, need not worry about me , For I have my Memories to Keep me.....
