On this day in history, October 30 1938, one Orson Wells ,an actor of some renown, took the airwaves with a radio show depicting the "War of the Worlds". He was so convincing that it caused widespread panic among the populace . Truly one of the greatest performances. "1948" US announces the end of shoe rationing, most of children in Montana say" what is rationing?" What are shoes?" "1954" Us Defense Department announces the end of racially segregated Regiments, Also "1954" A mother of three boys gives birth at 11:30 pm and when recuperating in her room her husband who has been waiting in the waiting room comes in to see his new baby, Well he says, Mom responds It's a Boy! He responds .....another.......Mom says yes, he is so cute and we can always try again......right?......With all the energy he could muster he said "Sure we can ,sure" ........."1969" Supreme Judicial Court of Mass. Rules for an inquest into the death of one Mary Jo Kopechne, she was found dead in a car owned by Senator Ted Kennedy, in a pond. The inquest was held in secret, as requested by the Kennedy family, Bastards."......."1974" Muhammed Ali regains his Heavyweight Title, knocking out George Foreman........"2012" Hurricane Sandy slams into the East coast of America causing untold misery and costs to millions of Americans......"."2013" The Boston Red Sox baseball team defeats the St. Louis Cardinals in the sixth game of the World Series to carry the crown of the World Champions!"......"2014" Not on this date but Four months prior, that little baby boy said his goodbye to that Mother who loved him with all her heart for 59 years, as she lay there slipping away my last words were "You can go now Mom, you've been a great Mom and I wasn't the girl you wanted but I hope I was the Boy who made you proud!" I turned 60 on October 30 2014, It has been a Blessed Life.
