God Bless America

My Lovely companion Rita and I drove to Medicine Hat Alberta this afternoon, to pick up some parts for our Air Drill. Our Journey took us thru the Port of Entry 35 miles Northwest of the farm, known as Aiden Ab. A beautiful drive around the north side of my beloved SweetGrass Hills, some of the most prized pasture ground in Northern Montana, mixed with farm ground that looks like peat moss ,very fertile indeed. The problem this year is too much rain, every low spot is under water and the color of the wheat is a pale yellow, and it is full of diseases such as rust and tan spot, sure to take a big percentage of the yield. On reaching Aiden we realized "Yes America is the Land of opportunity" the opportunity to waste Millions and Millions of  Taxpayer dollars. What a Taj Mahal -Port of Entry, they have built at this isolated sight that averages Five People per day .  Per Day. The building was in the Four Thousand square feet range, with all the things that you would expect, a workout room with specialized mirrored glass so the fat bastards can watch themselves sweat, we know this because a friends brother delivered and installed said glass from Havre a mere 110 miles away, suppose they charged extra mileage? The Canadian side had the same double wide 40 foot trailer , used since 1970 or so. I must admit the Mounties WERE quite a bit heavier than our Border Patrol, so there AYe.    Medicine Hat has grown quite a bit since maybe Ten Years ago, the last time I was there, I judge by the Box Stores WalMart, Target, Ashley Furniture, The Bay, all new construction. My friend Mike Tilleman once told me that "The Hat  has the best Peelers around" for you sheltered from such things that means Strippers.  We came home thru the Port of Entry called WildHorse north of Havre, as big as a damn Gymnasium. All new Construction, the Agent was a bit of a dick, but even He insinuated that it was way of an overkill, jokingly he said "Now their even talking about making it a 24hour Port".  My guess is if they saw 50 cars a day  it would be a red letter day......Do you think Washington can spend our way to prosperity?.   That Glass company does.  That's it for now , am going to try to bring you some pictures of this little farm, it hasn't looks better in quite sometime so be on the lookout!
