Lots to be thankful for except

Happy Thanksgiving one and all . This time of year I do feel for those of us who are out of work and don't have a lot of Hope. Especially when America basically elects those who for 4 years have been saying " I 've tried nothing man and I 'm all out of ideas". Not to sure how we are going to get out of this mess, very glad my immediate family are working. You probably didn't know this but the Laird motto is "We hope for better things". Found that little nugget when looking thru some old papers from Scotland. It's almost as if they left off the remaining sentence of " We expect the worst". Truly sums up the Scottish way.   If you are wondering what I want for Christmas, and I know you are. Wouldn't it be nice if someone could come up with a damn pillow that a normal person could sleep on without waking up with a headache , my pillow my ass. And how come the slippers you buy now days fall apart in a week, my old man had the same slippers for 40 years. Ok  I know I sound like  Walter Matthaw. Hope you have a relaxing day  remember what happens at thanksgiving stays at thanksgiving.  Leave you with this  I'm most Thankful for my grand kids here are a few of there isms see if you can guess what the hell they mean when they say these.     1.  Badoot.     2 Amish.  3 I. U.       4. caw I mam. 5 Gob Gaw.  6 Foosie.     7 Dandies.                                                                                             1 Vacuum. 2 Ice cream. 3 I love You.  4. Yes I Am.  5 Popsicle. 6 Fart. 7 Deer.     That was painful
